1,877 Ukrainian Settlements Are under russian Occupation

As of the end of February, 1,877 settlements in Ukraine remain under russian occupation.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during an address to the participants of the event dedicated to Germany's solidarity with Ukraine.

“We are fighting on the Ukrainian land for something all of you, my friends, cannot imagine living without. This is elementary security. This is freedom and life under the law. This is human dignity and the right of every person and every community to self-respect. It is the happiness of living in a family and the opportunity to dream of a safe and free future for your children. Simple things that 1,877 Ukrainian towns and villages are currently deprived of,” Zelenskyy said.

The President reported that the temporarily occupied Mariupol was almost 90% destroyed, and russians wanted to convert the destroyed houses into concrete stone chips for road construction.
