A core network of a “smart” city built in Kyiv
Each district of Kyiv is covered by a network of a “smart” city. The network of supporting stations with wireless technology and long-range communication is called LoRaWAN. Currently, there are 295 such stations in the city.
These locations will be equipped with sensors. They will be installed on gas pipelines, water pipes, and electric switchboards and connected to the global network. It is necessary to control air quality, free places for parking, or garbage disposal in Kyiv.
Kyiv has become the first city in Ukraine that launched such a system.
